Negotiation isn’t only about winning. There are many different acceptable oucomes. We spend much of our time negotiating, often relying solely on intuition and not considering the inappropriate strategy to achieve the desired outcome. Becoming more aware of the skills and techniques used in negotiation improves effectiveness.

Identify the different styles of negotiation and select the most appropriate one

Prepare for the negotiation- setting objectives, defining the issues, deciding tactics and creating a favourable environment

Know how to conduct the actual negotiation, including identifying and disarming dirty tricks, making concessions, breaking deadlocks and reaching agreement.
Length: One or two full days.
