What is our approach to mentoring and consulting to small business?

We do not impose any specific model to change, but listen to the proprietor and analyse the business in line with its objectives. In all cases the proprietor remains in control of the process

How big are the classes?

The cost for training does not change depending on class numbers. We recommend a class size of six to sixteen, although report writing should be no more than twelve. If there is a small number of participants then coaching may be a better solution.

How do we tailor courses to needs?

Training is only truly effective if it is designed around the needs of the participants. Before any training occurs we will use a variety of tools such as conduct pre course questionnaires, interviews with training organisers and participants and reviewing sample documents as appropriate

Where does training occur?

Training occurs in the employer’s workplace in half, one or two day sessions. Where there is insufficient room or equipment, Biscom Training can organise alternatives.
